On 6 October 2026, R.S. Jhunjhunwala International School, Vapi, organised a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Seminar in association with Nadkarni Medical Foundation. The session was led by Dr. Aditi Nadkarni, Director of the 21st Century Group of Hospitals, Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Infertility Specialist.
The seminar focused on menstrual hygiene, menstrual health and common myths surrounding periods. It aimed to encourage students to understand their bodies, practise proper menstrual hygiene and approach menstruation with confidence, awareness and without shame.
Through this initiative, the organisers highlighted the importance of menstrual health education in breaking taboos, spreading awareness and creating a supportive environment where young people can discuss menstrual health openly.
