HPV Vaccination Camp
On 15th June 2025, a collaborative HPV Vaccination Camp was successfully held at Aveshka – 21st Century Cancer Care Center, Vapi. The initiative was jointly organized by Vapi Women’s Club, Nadkarni Medical Foundation, and 21st Century Cancer Care Center, aimed at raising awareness and protecting young women against cervical cancer.
Led by Dr. Aditi Nadkarni, Infertility Specialist and Gynaecologist, and Dr. Akshay Nadkarni, Cancer Surgeon, the camp provided accurate education about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and its link to cervical cancer — one of the most preventable yet prevalent cancers in women.
A total of 84 adolescent girls received the HPV vaccine during the session, underscoring the growing acceptance of preventive healthcare in the community. The event also featured informative interactions, consultations, and safe vaccine administration by a trained medical team.
This effort aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to early detection, cancer prevention, and women’s health empowerment. Through such awareness programs, Nadkarni Medical Foundation continues to bridge the gap between knowledge and action — one community at a time.
