HPV Vaccination Drive for Girls: CERVAVAC Vaccine
On 10th July 2025, the Nadkarni Medical Foundation, in association with BKPS Reunite Group and Bargam Kadva Patidar Samaj – Vapi, successfully hosted a dedicated HPV Vaccination Program at Aveshka – 21st Century Cancer Care Center, Balitha.
This impactful initiative aimed to protect adolescent girls against cervical cancer through CERVAVAC – India’s indigenous and affordable HPV vaccine. The program is part of a larger preventive effort to address one of the most common yet preventable cancers affecting women.
Why This Matters
Cervical cancer continues to be a leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women across India. Early vaccination against Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most effective ways to reduce this risk. By introducing the vaccine during adolescence, the chances of future HPV infections are significantly lowered.
